Megan Taylor, LVT

Megan Taylor is a licensed veterinary technician who has been with Blue Water Equine Hospital since January 2005. Megan attended Macomb Community College and obtained her veterinary technician license in 2004. During that time, she worked in a small animal veterinary practice utilizing her technical skills in areas such as surgery, anesthesia and emergency situations. She is now a member of AAEVT, an organization supporting equine veterinary technician.

Megan grew up in Algonac, Michigan, and spent most of her time on her grandparent¿s horse farm, riding since the age of 2. She now resides in Clay Township, Michigan, with her fiancé, Ron and their 3 dogs Bosco, Dozer and Reny. Most of Megan's free time is spent with her horse, Mouse, a 15 year old Thoroughbred gelding, whom she rides various disciplines.

Dr. Rebecca Rosenberg

Rebecca grew up in Delaware and moved to California at the age of sixteen. She stayed in California just long enough to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at University of California, Davis, before jumping right into veterinary school at Cornell University in New York. She graduated in May of 2008 in an equine track, and she has joined the practice for her internship year. In the future she hopes to expand her knowledge by becoming certified in Equine Chiropractics and Acupuncture.

Rebecca has been working with horses since she was 10 years old, mucking stalls in the local barns to get free riding lessons, to eventually leasing horses during college. She does not own a horse of her own yet, but it's only a matter of time. She enjoys white water rafting, movie-going, and spoiling her cat rotten. She looks forward to getting to know Michigan!
